Ok volunteers, a date to teach students of Fox Creek High School has been set! September 19th. I need to know who plans to attend to help teach ‘Paychecks 101’ so we can tell the school what time(s). They said they are open all day except between 8:54-9:44am. Worried about the timing? You can teach the lesson any time in September and still qualify for 1 RCH credit and recognition from APA. Teach local students how to understand their paychecks and their money
National Payroll Week – September 3-7
Mark your calendars!
Volunteer and earn 1 RCH credit during September…Contact your local school or youth group to reserve a spot to teach. You can show students how to understand their money, paychecks and how to save. Make a difference in your community! Volunteers and fellow payroll professionals will unite September 6 on Money Matters National Education Day to teach teens about their paychecks and the withholding system.
Volunteer with TEAM AUGUSTA, to go to local schools for National Payroll Week, to teach students about their money and their paychecks. We will plan to do this together during National Payroll Week, however, if anyone would like to go separately to a local school or organization, feel free!

Register to volunteer by filling out the short commitment form at http://www.nationalpayrollweek.com/Education_day.cfm. *Once you submit the commitment request, you can download a detailed lesson plan and PowerPoint presentation you can use to teach. They will also email it to you along with other helpful information.
